Crocodile House

Bristol

This project was Theo’s family home and was undertaken, for the most part, by Theo and his wife Poppy. Crocodile house was a renovation and loft conversion of a Victorian terrace in south Bristol. The brief was to create a home with the kitchen at its heart. A space for entertaining, everyday life and the flexibility to adapt to a changing family.

The redesign of the ground floor opened up views from the font door to the garden making the garden feel a part of the house. Bifold doors to the back created the in-out feel and reinforce that connection to the garden. The playful bathroom added a splash of colour and the loft conversion provided a versatile and cost effective space without the need for major structural work.
